Announcement – PujyaShri Swamijis’s Anugraha Bhashanam for Shankara Stotra Makaranda, free Deivathin Kural classes in English, lecture on Narada Bhakthi Sutras, Soundarya Lahari Parayanam

Namaskarams. Further to our announcement yesterday, please see below about free Deivathin Kural (Voice of God) classes for adults and children as well as Anugraha Bhashanam by PujyaShri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji coinciding with the launch of Shankara Stotra Makaranda.

1. As directed by and with the blessings of PujyaShri Periyava, a dedicated special Shankara Stotra Course of six months’ duration titled Shankara Stotra Makaranda has been planned. The course will be conducted by Jagadguru Seva Ratnam, Upanyasa Tilakam Shri P.R.Kannan. The select list of Shankara Stotras to be covered in the course is given below and also in attached. The lecturer will recite each verse of each Stotra in parts and the participant will repeat the same. This will be followed by explanation of Bhavartha, essential meaning of the verse, Padaccheda, separation of compound words and Pratipadartha, word meaning. The plan is to cover a verse in about ten minutes.The course will start on Thursday, 28 Jan 2021, followed by sessions on every Saturday and Sunday, each day from 8 AM IST for one hour duration. Those who complete the course successfully will be awarded a certificate by Sri Periyava during Vyasa Puja. Sri Periyava is keen on worldwide participation of maximum enthusiasts of Sanatana Dharma and good spread of awareness of our treasures of Samskrit language and ParamaPujyaShriAdi Shankaracharya’s Stotras. With the Blessings of PujyaShri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji, Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Dharma Moolam is offering a free Deivathin Kural kathasravanam for children, first session on Saturday January 30th, 1 PM CT. Registration and further details available at this LINK . Please note that all sessions will be conducted in English.

3.  As part of Vedantic Lecture series conducted by S.V.Temple, Michigan, Dr Jambunathan Ramanathan, one of our own Satsangam members from Detroit, will be giving a lecture on Narada Bhakthi Sutras, every Sunday 9 AM CT – 10 AM CT, from January 31st – March 7th, except February 14th. 4. With PujyaShri Periyava’s Grace, we are pleased to host ParamaPujyaShri Shankara Bhagavatpada‘s SoundaryaLahari shloka recitation on an auspicious Makara Bhruguvaram, Friday February 5th, starting at 7 PM CT, as part of the Anusham Puja of His Holiness Kanchi Shankaracharya PujyaShri Chandrashekharendra Saraswathi MahaSwamiji.
