Please find below detailed announcement from KKSF, USA about the upcoming Sahasradala Padma Aradhana function to be held on Saturday March 7, 2020, starting 8 AM at Sant Nirankari Mission, 1S750, IL Rt. 59, Warrenville, IL 60185. Children of all ages will have an opportunity to recite twelve shlokas in the presence of His Holiness through a live webcast. KKSF Midwest Chapter is conducting training sessions in preparation for this event.

Program will include (all times shown below are start times):

7:45 AM – Assembly for Aradhana Puja
8:00 AM – Guru Vandanam, Swasthi Vachanam, MahaGanapathi Puja
8:30 AM – Punyahavachanam, Guru Puja including Shri Rudrabhishekam, Shivaradhana, Shri Bhavathpada Puja, Shri MahaSwami Puja, Shri Periyava Puja
8:30 AM – Assembly of all Sahasradala Padma Aradhanam participants (see separate email with details)
9:00 AM – Sahasradala Padma Aradhanam, with live webcast with His Holiness Kanchi Shankaracharya PujyaShri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji and other KKSF centers – including Poornakumbham reception, Swasthi Vachanam, chanting of shlokams, Thotakashtakam, and Anugraha Bhashanam by His Holiness
12:30 PM – Chaturveda Parayanam, Upachara Puja
12:50 PM – MahaMangala Harathi, Prasada Viniyogam, followed by Lunch

For our Midwest chapter participants,  weekly classes are being held through early March, with one final rehearsal session before the event. The weekly classes are being held over teleconference and children may use the online recordings as part of preparation for each shloka. As an early start, they are encouraged to listen to Audio tracks available, using the text provided.

You may also find video recordings that are available on YouTube from the November 2019 Sahasradala Padma Aradhana held at Chennai in the presence of His Holiness to be useful in your preparation.

Kanchi Kamakoti Seva Foundation USA, (KKSF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established over 30 years ago and run by volunteers under the direct guidance of the Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, PujyaShri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji, is pleased  to invite you to participate in Sahasradala Padma Aradhana celebration on March 7, 2020, coinciding with the 2nd Aradhana of PujyaShri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji . A similar function recently concluded in Bharat with 1008 baalikas from five different cities simultaneously participating over live webcast and chanting twelve shlokas in the presence of His Holiness. His Holiness PujyaShri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji has ordained a first such program for devotees in North America, and to be conducted across several cities on March 7th 2020. Children will have an opportunity to recite shlokas in front of His Holiness  through a live webcast. Various KKSF chapters will conduct training sessions in preparation and conduct the event at a local venue. Please await future communications regarding venue and times for the event.  Adults may join the recitation, although the emphasis will be on maximizing participation by children.

Shlokas do not need to be memorized but can be read as well. The goal is for everyone especially children to  learn all the twelve shlokas. The shlokas are to be recited in the tunes provided and, in the order, listed below.
