Thank you for Participating in Krithika Mandala Veda Parayanam

Kanchi Kamakoti Seva Foundation would like to thank all for your participation and support at our recently-held annual Krithika Mandala Veda Parayanam, at Panchavati, SVS Balaji Temple, Aurora, IL. The function began with Guru Vandanam, Shri MahaGanapthi Puja, Maharishi Veda Vyasa Puja followed by recitation of MahaNarayanopanishad and Acchidra Parayanam with many Vedaadhyaayees joining the chanting led by Veda Pandithas. This was followed by ChaturVeda, Shivagama, Vaikhasagama, Shadangam and Ghana Parayanam by the assembled Veda Pandithas. This year’s special feature included chanting by children of various ages trained by various Adhyapakars and included verses from Sama Vedam, Purusha Suktham, Upanishad and Shri Rudram. With the Grace of Shri Veda Matha and Shri AcharyaLs, we pray this becomes a regular part of the program in the future years. The function concluded with recitation of Thiruppavai, Thiruvembavai, Thotakashtakam, Mangala Harathi and honoring of assembled Veda Pandithas and children who participated in today’s chanting by Brahmashri Dakshinamurthy Madduri Garu.and Shri Ranganath Hemmige, followed by Prasada Viniyogam.

We are extremely grateful to all the Veda Pandithas, Vedadhyayees and devotees who attended and supported this unique program. We are thankful to various temples who sent their priests for this occasion, including Shri Ganesha Gayathri Temple, Shri SVS Balaji Temple, Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, Hindu Temple of Bloomington. Special thanks to Shri SVS Balaji Temple for providing us the Panchavati hall and their support for the event. We are immensely indebted to every one of our volunteers who worked hard to make this a very memorable evening for all of us.

This year, Kanchi Shri MahaSwamiji’s 26th Aradhana falls on Dhanur Masa Krisha Paksha Dwadasi, Sunday December 22nd and will be held at Shri Ganesha Gayathri Temple, Lockport, IL, from 845 AM. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the function, detailed announcement will follow.
